Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Insulated Precast Wall Panel Project Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, production, and execution of insulated precast concrete wall panel projects at our manufacturing facility in Vernon, BC.

The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between engineering, production, site teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards. This role requires strong technical knowledge of precast systems, construction sequencing, scheduling, and manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management & Coordination

- Manage insulated precast wall panel projects from design release through manufacturing, delivery, and installation.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, milestones, and production timelines.
- Coordinate with engineering, drafting, estimating, production, logistics, and field installation teams.
- Monitor project progress and proactively resolve scheduling, production, or installation issues.
- Conduct project kickoff meetings and ongoing coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Must have strong project management software skills including knowledge of all MS Office programs.

Manufacturing & Production Oversight

- Work closely with plant operations to ensure efficient production sequencing and resource allocation.
- Review shop drawings, panel layouts, embeds, insulation requirements, and connection details prior to fabrication.




- Ensure manufacturing activities comply with project specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
- Track production status and support continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.

Client & Contractor Communication

- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, general contractors, and installers.
- Respond to RFIs, schedule updates, change orders, and technical inquiries.
- Maintain professional relationships while ensuring customer expectations are met.

Scheduling & Logistics

- Coordinate transportation and site delivery schedules for precast panels.
- Work with erection crews and site superintendents to ensure installation readiness.
- Assist with crane planning, sequencing, and site access coordination when required.

Financial & Contract Administration

- Monitor project budgets, cost tracking, and labor productivity.
- Review contracts, purchase orders, and change orders.
- Assist with progress billings, forecasting, and project reporting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks affecting cost or schedule.

Quality & Safety

- Promote and enforce workplace safety policies and safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, CSA standards,



and project specifications.
- Participate in quality inspections and corrective action processes.

Qualifications

- Experience in precast concrete, construction project management, or manufacturing operations.
- Robust understanding of insulated precast wall panel systems and construction practices.
- Ability to read and interpret structural drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency with project scheduling and management software.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards and quality control procedures.
- PMP designation or engineering/technical background is considered an asset.

Preferred Experience

- Architectural or structural precast concrete projects.
- Manufacturing plant coordination and production scheduling.
- Commercial, institutional, industrial, or multi-family construction projects.
- Experience coordinating panel erection and field installation activities.
