Our client, a leading bakery company specializing in a variety of baked goods, is seeking a Shipper-Food Production Facility to join their team. As a Shipper-Food Production Facility, you will be part of the production support team, ensuring the efficient and safe handling of products. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Shipper-Food Production Facility

Location: Amherst, NS

Pay Range: $19.89

Shift: Schedule of bakery, availability required (flexibility with working overtime, and on weekends, as necessary)

What's the Job?

- Pick, pack, sort, and package fresh products into bags and boxes
- Work in production/packaging area to make and stack boxes onto pallets
- Inspect filled packages to ensure product is packaged according to specifications
- Work closely with production team members to ensure product quality
- Assist machine operators/mixers/oven captains and crew with other duties as assigned

What's Needed?
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred, especially in food manufacturing
- Strong commitment to health and safety standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as required
