Nut & Bolt Group is a one-stop shop for fastener and industrial supply needs. We are seeking a part-time Warehouse Associate to join our team at our Wetaskiwin location.
Working Conditions
- Warehouse: indoor and climate controlled workplace
- Approximately 30 hours per week
- NO WEEKENDS! Our store hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am to 5 pm
- Moderate computer use, prolonged hours standing, repetitive movements
Duties & Responsibilities
- Pick and assemble customer orders, wrap skids as required
- Perform other material handling activities such as counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking; ensuring accuracy in each stage of the order process
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or using basic material handling equipment
- Operate forklifts, hand trucks or other materials-handling equipment proficiently and safely (training available)
- Unpack and store goods in the correct areas ensuring goods are labeled correctly
- Maintain organization within the warehouse to optimize workflow and safety standards
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations during all operations involving heavy lifting or equipment use
Qualifications
- High school diploma; previous warehouse experience is an asset
- Class 5 Driver's License is an asset
- Excellent time management, problem solving, multitasking and communication skills
- Able to work under pressure within tight timelines
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Clear Criminal Record Check (completed at time of offer)
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. We are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
