Join our dynamic manufacturing team as a Welder 2nd Year and take your skills to the next level! In this role, you will be actively engaged in fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal components using advanced welding techniques. Your expertise will contribute to high-quality production processes, ensuring safety and precision in every project.

Responsibilities

- Perform MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welding on various metal parts and assemblies following detailed blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to accurately execute fabrication tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and measuring devices such as micrometers to ensure precise dimensions and quality standards
- Operate plasma cutters, press brake machines, heavy punch machine, shear and other fabrication equipment to shape and assemble components
- Assist with rigging, crane operations, and teamwork to get the job done efficiently
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols related to welding, cutting, and handling heavy materials
- Collaborate with team members on assembly projects,



ensuring efficient workflow and quality control throughout the manufacturing process

Requirements

- Proven experience or training in welding techniques such as MIG and TIG welding; second-year welders to apply
- Mechanical knowledge in using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and schematics reading
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and blueprint interpretation
- Ability to operate fabrication equipment including plasma cutters, press brake machines, cranes, forklifts, and machining tools
- Construction or manufacturing experience; a strong willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of rigging procedures and crane safety practices is a plus
- Ability to work safely in an environment involving welding fumes, heavy machinery, and high temperatures
- Ability to meet deadlines in an effective manner
- High volume fabrication shop
