Company description iMetal Inc is a custom metal architectural metal fabricator that works in various industries, Including store fixtures, trade show exhibitors, contract manufacturing and residential industries.

We are a full service fabrication shop with state of the art equipment.

The individuals will assist in production welding, service welding, repair welding, prototype building, fitter welding and other welding related duties as required.

Job Responsibilities

- Minimum 5 years experience in Gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) (TIG), Gas metal arc welding (GMAW) (MIG) & Fusion welds.
- Fitting skills are a must.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience with grinding & deburring welds; grind flat and smooth.
- Well versed in measurements in metric & imperial.
- Stainless steel, Aluminum & Brass experience is an asset.
- Read and interpret welding blueprints, welding specifications, drawings,



manuals and processes.
- Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- High School Diploma and/or Welder Trade certification
- 3-5 years of welding and fitting experience
- Proficiency with MIG and TIG welding of thin gauge stainless steel
- Must be able to pass TIG test
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, complete repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work under pressure, multi-task, organize deadlines and priorities
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination with robust attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving and time-management skills
- A team player and willing to work with others on projects
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
