Nature’s Friend Lawn Care Ltd. is looking for a reliable, experienced, and motivated person to join our team in a year-round position.

This is a hands-on position for someone who can take responsibility for a truck and route, work independently, and help lead a small crew.

What you'll do

Spring/Summer/Fall

Operate and maintain a commercial lawn-care truck

Run assigned mowing and lawn-care routes

Lead a small crew and ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard

Perform mowing, trimming, cleanups, aeration and other property maintenance work

Communicate with the owner regarding scheduling, equipment and job issues

Help keep equipment, trailers and vehicles organized and maintained

Winter

Operate a plow truck and complete an assigned snow-clearing route

Perform snow clearing and shovelling as required

Help ensure winter equipment is ready and maintained

Work during snow events, including early mornings, evenings and weekends when required

What we're looking for

Previous experience in lawn care, landscaping, snow clearing or a similar field

Valid driver's licence and clean driving record

Strong work ethic and reliable attendance

No criminal record





Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work

Comfortable leading and working with a small crew

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

Assets

Experience operating commercial lawn-care or snow-removal equipment

Mechanical aptitude / small-engine experience

Experience with commercial snow plows

Pressure-washing experience

Class 3 licence or willingness to obtain one
