Job Type: Full-Time
Shift: Monday to Friday, 1:00 PM - 9:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
Overtime: Possible evenings and weekends based on operational needs
Starting Wage: $23.00/hour

Position overview

We are currently hiring an Entry-Level Rebar Fabrication Machine Operator to join a busy steel fabrication facility. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work, operating machinery, and working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Training will be provided for the right candidate.

Minimum qualifications

Basic math skills with the ability to calculate bar measurements

High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

Reliable transportation to and from work

Ability to work overtime and occasional weekends when required

Key responsibilities

Operate rebar fabrication equipment, including:

Bending machines to fabricate reinforcing steel to required dimensions

Shearing machines to cut reinforcing steel bars to specified lengths

Overhead cranes to move, assemble, and select materials for fabrication or shipping

Unload trailers and organize materials into storage bins





Assemble and load customer orders onto trailers for shipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Assist team members with fabrication, material handling, and shipping tasks

Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures

Physical and work environment

Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding work

Comfortable working in a noisy, dusty, hot, and cold environment

Work is performed in an outdoor enclosed shop exposed to varying weather conditions
