Responsibilities

- Assist physiotherapists in preparing treatment areas and setting up equipment for therapy sessions.
- Support patients with exercises and mobility activities under the supervision of licensed physiotherapists.
- Maintain accurate case management records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and patient histories.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Manage scheduling and coordinate appointments using Microsoft Outlook and other scheduling tools.
- Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, noting any changes or concerns for review.




- Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of therapy equipment and treatment spaces.

Experience

- Prior experience working in Long Term Care and Community setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, patient care procedures, and case management practices.
- Multilingual abilities, especially fluency in French or other languages, are a plus for serving diverse patient populations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Word processing software to document patient information accurately.
- Excellent communication skills combined with mechanical knowledge relevant to therapy equipment operation.
- Experience in pediatrics or nursing environments enhances your ability to adapt to various patient needs.
- Demonstrated organizational skills with effective time management to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
