PCL Constructors Westcoast Inc. is looking for an experienced Carpenter Foreperson to help with a project located in Victoria, BC.

Roles and responsibilities:

- Understand, implement and enforce PCL's HSE program as well as local safety legislation
- Being responsible for supervising our crews in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury or damage to property or utilities
- Working with sub trades and own forces to ensure safe work procedures are understood and followed
- Being able to intervene and understand the methods used to ensure a protected, productive and quality project
- Ability to set and communicate production goals with work crews to increase productivity
- Responsible to teach and train crew members
- Supervising and coordinating site construction activities with sub-trades and PCL’s own skilled craft workers
- Working with the PCL team and the engineers, designers and inspectors to help meet the client's project requirements
- Representing PCL to the public in a manner that is consistent with corporate values and goals

Requirements:





- 3 or more years of field supervision experience on Commercial, Industrial or Civil projects
- proven track record of leading crews
- Hold a valid Carpentry Journeyperson trade certificate or a Technical Diploma or equivalent experience in the industry

Pay: $43.42-$49.63 per hour
