Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide exceptional patient care through travel assignments in. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in nursing across various healthcare settings, including nursing homes, hospitals, and home care environments. The LPN will be responsible for supporting medical teams, administering treatments, and ensuring patient comfort and safety in accordance with healthcare standards and protocols.

Duties

- Deliver comprehensive patient care in diverse settings such as nursing homes, hospitals, assisted living facilities, and home health environments.
- Administer medications accurately and safely, following physician orders and established protocols.
- Assist with patient assessments, vital signs, and documentation using electronic health record systems such as Epic or Cerner.
- Support physicians and registered nurses in procedures including phlebotomy, laboratory specimen collection, and pain management interventions.
- Provide specialized care for patients with dementia, seniors requiring hospice or palliative care, and pediatric populations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions,



treatments administered, and observations to ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere strictly to infection control standards, safety regulations, and confidentiality policies throughout all duties.

Skills

- Extensive experience working in nursing homes, hospitals, or home health care environments.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, medication administration, and patient assessment techniques.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems such as Epic or Cerner for documentation purposes.
- Skilled in phlebotomy procedures and laboratory specimen handling.
- Knowledge of dementia care practices, senior care protocols, hospice support, and pediatric nursing.
- Experience managing pain control strategies and case management responsibilities.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages—including children—and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings while maintaining high standards of patient safety and quality care.
