Bobcat / Small Excavator Operator

Job description

Responsibilities:

- Operating equipment in safe and effective manner.
- Understand elevations, grades & execute from landscape construction plan.
- Excavation of swales, trenches, planting beds, tree holes etc.

- Soft scape installation and topsoil placement, backfill for plant, shrub, tree materials.

Requirements:

- Minimum two years finish grade experience operating skid steer and excavator.
- Valid AB. Class 5 driver’s license with clean driving abstract.
- Able to proficiently operate truck with attached trailer.
- Minimum 2 years of landscape operating experience.
- Ability to follow direction and work under pressure.
- Good observation and problem-solving skills.
- First Aid, equipment operating certificates, construction safety courses an asset.

cribbing, concrete, concrete finisher, landscaping, labour, general labour, skilled labour, masonry, brick layer, stone work, stone mason, renovations, handyman, roofing, framing, fencing, farming, equipment, equipment operator, equipment maintenance, equipment moving, horticulture, tree planting, load & unload, irrigation, moving, excavation, bobcat, skid steer, mini dig, truck and trailer, swamping, warehouse, industrial, steel worker, tradesman, is an asset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Seasonal

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour
