Job Description

We are seeking a professional and safety-focused Asset Protection Associate to help create a secure environment for customers, associates, and vendors. This role is critical in supporting store safety, reducing shrink, and protecting company assets.

Key Responsibilities

- Monitor and protect Walmart property, merchandise, and individuals within the store
- Deter theft, fraud, and shrink through surveillance, investigation, and store patrols
- Conduct daily checks of the store to ensure doors, fixtures, and equipment are secure
- Respond to and manage security incidents,



including external arrests when necessary
- Support evacuation procedures during emergencies
- Conduct investigations related to internal theft, dishonesty, or organized retail crime
- Collaborate with leadership and Global Ethics on assigned cases and security matters
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of incidents

Qualifications

- Experience in security, asset protection, or loss prevention is an asset
- License - Security Guard License
- Robust observation, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle stressful or emergency situations calmly and professionally
- Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

The rate of pay for this position starts from $19.35. The rate of pay will be determined based on relevant experience.
