SMR Electric is looking for motivated, reliable, and skilled Electrical Apprentices (2nd Year and above preferred) and Licensed Electricians to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, electrical drawings, and specifications.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and accurately.
- Install wiring, lighting, electrical panels, switches, receptacles, and other electrical equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with applicable electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Work independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe worksite.
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and fellow team members.

QualificationsElectrical Apprentice

- Registered Electrical Apprentice (2nd Year or higher preferred).
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and installation practices.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Eagerness to learn and develop technical skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Licensed Electrician

- Valid Construction & Maintenance Electrician (309A) or Journeyperson Electrician License.
- Several years of field experience.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead projects and mentor apprentices is considered an asset.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Requirements

- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work.
- Comfortable working at heights, on ladders, and outdoors in various weather conditions when required.
- Robust time management skills and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
