Join our Family Owned team as a Class 1 Long Haul Driver and take on the exciting challenge of transporting freight across long distances with energy and precision! In this vital role, you will be the backbone of our logistics operations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Responsibilities

- Safely operate Class 1 commercial trucks over long-haul routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Plan efficient routes to optimize delivery times and fuel consumption
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems
- Handle freight securely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary for loading and unloading
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with regulatory standards
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse teams, and clients to coordinate pickups and deliveries




- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle reliability during trips

Requirements

- Valid Class 1 (or equivalent) commercial driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and heavy equipment operation on long-haul routes
- Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols for secure transportation
- Basic automotive repair skills to identify common vehicle issues
- Solid organizational skills with attention to detail for logs, inspections, and compliance documentation
- Flexibility to work extended hours or overnight trips as required by the schedule
- BC to California
- Must have Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency to cross border or US Visa
- Automatic and Manual Drivers

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
