Sobana Welding Inc. is a dynamic welding shop specializing in on-site welding and fabrication as per CWB/TSSA standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Weld/fabricate on-site and occasionally in shop
- Read and interpret blueprints
- Determine weldability of materials
- Set up and operate welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Complete tasks with minimal supervision
- Work as part of a team
- Operate saws, drills, grinders, impacts and other hand tools related to welding
- Overtime is available
- Weekend work is available
- Travelling work optional

Qualifications and Skills

- Preferred 3 years experience in a welding or fabrication setting
- MIG/TIG/Stick
- CWB preferred
- TSSA mandatory
- Redseal Journeyperson an asset
- G Class License an asset
- Safety training will provided

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
