We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Sanitation Worker to join our team!

About this opportunity:

The sanitation worker will keep clean and sanitize all areas of business. Collect and dispose garbage and recycled materials and maintain outside perimeter of the building.

Your responsibilities:

- Responsible for cleaning and sanitizing according to SOP standards all areas including public washrooms, dining room, kitchen, bakery and employee common areas.
- Sweeping and mopping floors using a broom and mop.
- Empty, clean, and sanitize waste and recycling bins regularly.
- Responsible to remove and disassemble equipment for cleaning and sanitizing in the kitchen and bakery areas.
- Use floor machine on daily basis.
- Maintain chemical inventory and have a basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals.
- Adhere to the colour code/ 3 sink system.
- Works safely and follows legislated and established safe work procedures and practices.




- Other duties as assigned in adherence to The Big Apple GMP policies

Your qualifications:

- Secondary School Completion or equivalency
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
- Experience working in a busy and fast paced Retail Environment is a MUST!
- Ability to Multitask is a necessity
