The Role:

The role of the GM is to operate a profitable business and effectively manage all disciplines of the restaurant. This includes full oversight & governance of team performance and management, along with inventory management. The GM ensures the organization's service and quality standards are being upheld at all times, and delivers the highest guest satisfaction through speed of service, cleanliness and customer recovery.

The Opportunity: We built something special. Now we need someone to run it

In 2017 Dave's Hot Chicken was created by best friends Dave Kopushyan, Arman Oganesyan, and Tommy and Gary Rubenyan. Dave, a chef trained in Thomas Keller's (French Laundry) organization, set out to create the perfect Hot Chicken by searching, tasting, and frying. The four friends scrounged up $900 to put a tiny stand in an East Hollywood parking lot.

Today, it's a cult phenomenon that is being spread across Canada by Bite Brands Ltd. We're looking for a General Manager who leads from the front, obsesses over quality, and knows how to build a team that thrives under pressure.

What You'll Own: The full picture

- People & Culture - Hire, train, and develop teams. Run weekly management meetings, coach daily, and create a workplace people actually want to show up to.
- Guest Experience Uphold Dave's & Bite Brand's standards on every tray that leaves the kitchen. Speed, quality, and recovery - you set the bar and hold it.
- Operations - Oversee inventory, labour staffing and overall guest experience, driving sales, cleanliness, and daily systems across the restaurant.
- Financials - Manage food cost, labour, and key metrics.

Who You Are: The stuff that matters

- 5+ years of restaurant management - high-volume experience is a strong asset
- Proven track record managing food cost, labour cost, and hitting KPIs
- A natural coach - you develop people, not just direct them
- Comfortable running a full kitchen and front-of-house simultaneously under pressure
- Deep knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and provincial health standards
- Flexible - nights, weekends, and holidays are part of the game
- Must have legal authorization to work in Canada
