We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of residential construction projects, ensuring homes are built safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. The successful candidate will coordinate trades, suppliers, inspectors, and subcontractors while maintaining strong communication with homeowners, consultants, and project management.

Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day construction operations on residential projects, from initial excavation through final completion
- Plan and coordinate the activities of subcontractors, suppliers, trades, inspections, and material deliveries
- Follow project schedules and monitor progress to ensure key deadlines and construction milestones are met
- Inspect completed and ongoing work to maintain quality, workmanship, and company standards
- Ensure construction activities meet applicable building codes, municipal regulations, and project requirements
- Perform routine site walkthroughs to identify deficiencies, potential issues, and safety hazards
- Promote and enforce secure work practices and company safety procedures on site




- Review and interpret architectural plans, structural drawings, specifications, and other construction documents
- Monitor labour, materials, and job-site activities to help maintain project costs and timelines
- Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, trades, consultants, and homeowners to keep projects moving efficiently
- Address construction challenges as they arise and coordinate practical solutions to avoid unnecessary delays
- Keep detailed records of site activities, including daily reports, project updates, deficiencies, and other relevant documentation

Qualifications

- At least 5 years of experience in residential construction; custom home building experience is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate residential construction projects
- Solid knowledge of residential construction practices, applicable building codes, and workplace safety requirements
- Comfortable reviewing and interpreting architectural, structural, and engineering plans
- Highly organized with strong scheduling, planning, and time-management capabilities
- Effective leadership skills with the ability to communicate professionally with a variety of project stakeholders
- Experience using construction management platforms and Microsoft Office applications is an asset
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with dependable access to transportation

Pay: $80,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
