As a Server at East Side Mario’s, you’ll create a fun, friendly and memorable experience for every guest while providing attentive, efficient service in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

- Deliver friendly, energetic and attentive service in accordance with East Side Mario’s Steps of Service
- Create a welcoming, family-focused experience and build genuine connections with guests
- Learn the menu and become confident in your food, beverage and promotional knowledge
- Use suggestive and recommended selling with every guest, including beverages, appetizers, add-ons, upgrades and desserts
- Promote current local and national features and promotions
- Look for opportunities to increase guest satisfaction and sales through thoughtful recommendations
- Encourage satisfied guests to share their experience by leaving a 5-star Google review
- Accurately take orders, process payments and follow all cash-handling procedures
- Work efficiently with a sense of urgency while managing multiple priorities
- Support your team by running food, assisting with expo and helping in other areas of the restaurant as needed
- Complete assigned opening, closing,



cleaning and side duties
- Maintain clean, organized and sanitary work areas
- Handle guest concerns professionally and work toward positive solutions
- Maintain a positive attitude and composure in a fast-paced environment
- Follow all liquor laws, food safety, health and safety, and restaurant policies and procedures
- Treat guests, co-workers and managers with professionalism and respect
- Maintain East Side Mario’s uniform and personal presentation standards
- Complete required training and participate in team meetings

We’re looking for someone who is outgoing, dependable, guest-focused and comfortable recommending and selling menu items. You should enjoy working as part of a team, be able to stay organized under pressure and bring a positive attitude to every shift.
