About Us

Legend Spirits is a restaurant & craft distillery in beautiful Parry Sound, known for our handcrafted spirits and our restaurant and cocktail bar. Our patio sits right on the Seguin River and it is the heart of this place all summer. We're creating a one of a kind food and drink experience and we need warm, friendly people to help us deliver it.

The Roles

We are hiring line cooks and prep cooks for a kitchen that runs seven days a week. Full-time and part time.

Apply once and we will place you based on your resume. Tell us the stations you have worked and roughly how many covers you have done. Experienced cooks go on the line. If you are earlier in your career, prep is a real job here and it is how people work their way onto the line.

What You Will Be Doing

Working a station on a busy line, plating to order and keeping up through a rush. Prep work: stocks, sauces, portioning and getting the line set before service. Opening the kitchen or closing it depending on your shift. Keeping your station, the walk-in and dry storage clean, labelled and dated. Following recipes and holding the plate consistent from the first cover to the last.

What You Need

Kitchen experience. Line cook, grill cook, prep cook or short order backgrounds all count.



Opening shifts start at 8:00 AM and closing shifts finish after 9:00 PM. Comfortable on your feet through a long shift in a hot kitchen. A reliable way to get to 7 Great North Rd in Parry Sound.

Helpful, But Not Required

Food Handler certification. If you do not have it, we will help you get it. Culinary school or an apprenticeship. Experience in a scratch kitchen. If there is a station you are genuinely strong on, tell us which one.
