Job description

We are hiring a preschool teacher who is:

- eager to work on a close-knit team in a family-oriented preschool.
- committed to open communication and collaboration with families, colleagues, and community partners.
- experienced in implementing child-initiated, educator-supported programs.
- dedicated to working with children with diverse needs in an inclusive classroom and
- passionate about outdoor learning

This position is part-time (25 hours per week) from September to June and involves:

- Planning and implementing an inclusive, play-based preschool program in cooperation and collaboration with colleagues and families
- Ensuring program compliance with Child Care and Early Years Act




- Setting goals for individual children in coordination with parents, colleagues, and involved community agencies.
- Documenting daily activities, growth and development
- Sharing snack preparation and cleaning responsibilities with colleagues
- Attending professional development and monthly staff meetings.

Requirements for the position:

- Registered with the College of ECE
- First Aid Level C
- Vulnerable Sector Check
