Mrail Inc. is a leading company in designing, manufacturing, and installing custom contemporary floating stairs, located in Mississauga. Open concept and minimalist house designs are becoming increasingly popular. Visual barriers in main living areas are avoided with simple design elements usually defined just with vertical and horizontal planes. And stairs are learning that orthographic language.

Mrail Inc. is a company with a fast-paced environment, looking for a designer/ architect to join our growing team. We have a diverse range of projects that we do in Canada, USA, and Caribbeans. We are looking for a highly motivated, mature, driven, and creative design professional who wants to work collaboratively with the design team.

Qualifications:

- Ability to read and understand Architectural Drawings

- Be familiar with building codes regarding stairs

- Solid experience in project management

- Ability to work independently

- Attention to details

- Professional, friendly and refined verbal/written communication

- Outstanding problem-solving skills

- Expert knowledge of AutoCAD and Rhino





- Basic knowledge: Outlook, Google Drive, Google Photos, Excel, Asana, 3D Programs ( like Solidworks and Rhino)

Responsibility:

- Learn everything about Mrail Stairs

- Managing all aspects of the design process, including shop drawing, fabrication drawing, and installation drawing

- Providing drawings in Rhino

- Work closely with builders and architects to complete drawings within the given time frame

- Visit construction job sites for measurements if needed

- Able to manage assigned projects independently with minimal supervision

- Communicating with clients on project status

This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, in our Mississauga office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $45,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

- Mississauga, ON L4W 2T6: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

- Rhinoceros 3D: 1 year (required)
