McEwan TD is a premium grocery store and café located in the heart of downtown Toronto, within The PATH at 66 Wellington Street West. We offer gourmet groceries, freshly prepared foods, and a hot food counter serving buffet-style breakfast and lunch.

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and motivated Store Associate to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar café or grocery environment in downtown Toronto and be comfortable performing a variety of tasks across our operation.

Responsibilities:

- Operate espresso and coffee machines; prepare and serve customized drinks and coffees
- Provide exceptional customer service at all times
- Operate the POS system and handle cash/credit transactions accurately
- Assist with grocery stocking, merchandising, and general store upkeep




- Support the hot food counter team during breakfast and lunch service
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards

Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (café, grocery, or food retail) in downtown Toronto
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday (no night shifts)
- Barista or coffee-making experience required
- Cash-handling and POS experience preferred
