The Calgary Winter Club is Calgary’s premier private family Club, situated in northwest Calgary on the edge of Nose Hill Park. The CWC offers an outstanding employee experience; we are firm believers that everyone should enjoy their work and have a successful work-life balance.

We are looking to fill a part time position as Duty Manager to supervise and oversee the day-to-day service delivery to ensure excellent customer service to our members and guests, while providing support to the staff operating the CWC’s various departments, programs, and facilities. This role is mainly working evenings and weekends.

This position focuses on the following:

· Be approachable and visible throughout the facility by members and staff

· Provide general assistance, promote and maintain positive member relations

· Perform regular facility patrols to ensure CWC rules, regulations, and guidelines are followed

· Assist in the set up and take down of program areas, as well as day to day operations in departments requiring additional support

· Communicate regularly with maintenance and housekeeping staff to ensure that the facility is clean, operational and exuding a standard of excellence

· Maintain firsthand knowledge of daily CWC events, programs and policies, and provide assistance to any department as required

· Assist with facility emergencies, first aid requests, incidents and follow up to these events

· Maintain a thorough understanding of all CWC Rules and Regulations, while effectively communicating and applying the Rules and Regulations in a positive and reasonable manner

· Communicate with management and Senior Leadership Team on incident occurrence and resolution

What you will need:

· Takes initiative and ownership of task

· Solutions oriented and proactive in nature





· Above average communication and negotiation skills

· Post-Secondary Education in hospitality, business management, administration or related field

· 2+ years progressive customer service experience

· Standard First Aid and CPR Level C (valid within one year of certification date)

· Experience in Health and Safety policies and procedures

· Intermediate to advanced MS Office computer skills
