Duties

- Conduct comprehensive legal research using tools to support case preparation and legal decision-making.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents including contracts, memoranda, and correspondence with precision and clarity
- Negotiate terms and conditions of agreements with clients, partners, and vendors to secure favorable outcomes
- Provide sound legal advice on regulatory compliance, risk management, and organizational policies
- Assist in preparing for litigation by gathering evidence, analyzing case law, and coordinating with external counsel when necessary




- Maintain organized records of all legal documentation and correspondence for easy access and compliance audits
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards to ensure organizational practices remain current

Requirements

- Proven experience in legal research.
- Robust negotiation skills demonstrated through previous contractual or dispute resolution work
- Excellent writing skills with the ability to produce clear, concise, and persuasive legal documents
- Solid understanding of legal drafting techniques tailored to various types of agreements and communications
- Exceptional research capabilities combined with analytical thinking to interpret complex legal issues
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, licensed to practice law in Quebec.
- Ability to manage multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
