Mosaic Community Homes is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Contracted Home Share Providers.

Home Sharing is a unique, community-based partnership where caregivers open their homes and lives to an individual eligible for services or the person supported open's their home to you. This arrangement is tailored to the person's needs and preferences, fostering independence, personal growth, and a sense of belonging. As a provider, you play a vital role in helping someone build a fulfilling life within your community while enjoying the flexibility of working from your own home.

The Role:

As a Contracted Home Share Provider, you will provide a secure, supportive, and inclusive environment. This is a live-in arrangement where the person supported becomes part of your household. You will support them in building relationships, developing life skills, and participating fully in community life, including recreation, employment, and social opportunities. Key Responsibilities:

* Create a Supportive Home: Provide a stable, caring, and respectful environment that promotes choice and independence.

* Daily Living Support: Assist with meal preparation, personal care, transportation, medication management, and household routines.

* Community Connection: Encourage and facilitate participation in community activities and social opportunities.

* Collaborative Care: Follow individualized support plans and maintain clear communication with staff and family members. * Documentation & Safety: Maintain required records, ensure health and safety standards are met, and adhere to all contractual and provincial policies.

Requirements:

· Permanant Canadian Residenacy

· 19 years of age or older

· Commitment to Inclusion:



Ability to provide a safe, welcoming, and inclusive home environment.

· Skills: Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.

· Certification: Standard First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).

· Reliability: A valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation are considered strong assets.

· Experience: Previous experience supporting individuals with diverse abilities is an asset but is not required.

Compensation:

Monthly contract compensation ranges from $2,000 to $6,000 per month, depending on the individual's support needs, level of care required, and the specific living arrangement.
