We looking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician for our Fleet Repair & Maintenance facility in Calgary. As part of our small and cohesive team, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical, air, hydraulic and electrical system defects and maintenance and repair to our fleet of company owned tractors and those of our Owner Operators.

The full-time, permanent shift (year-round) offers 40 hours per week, working Monday to Friday day shift.

What we are looking for:

- Journeyperson or Red Seal Heavy Equipment Technicians (with on-road ticket) or experienced level 2 or 3 HET Apprentices close to completing on-road ticket.
- Certified CVIP Technician on both Transport Trucks and Trailers (or ability/willingness to obtain)
- Assist fellow technicians/mentor apprentices with maintenance and repairs as needed
- Technician that has own tools and safety boots (see below – annual allowances!)
- Safety first approach to work & commitment to continuous learning
- Must be physically fit (able to lift approx. 50 lbs., kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time)
- Candidates must have own vehicle as public transportation is not available to our site
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (as this position is safety sensitive it falls under Kleysen’s Controlled Substance Policy)
