About Piggie

Piggie is a growing technology platform that connects local businesses with social media creators. We're looking for a Junior Full-Stack Developer to join our team and help us continue developing the Piggie web platform and mobile app.

This is a great opportunity for a recent Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related graduate who wants hands-on experience building and improving a real-world product.

What You'll Do

- Develop new features for the Piggie web platform and mobile app
- Maintain and improve existing features
- Build and integrate APIs between our frontend, backend, and mobile applications
- Troubleshoot bugs and production issues
- Work with databases and backend services
- Improve application performance, reliability, and user experience
- Help develop internal tools and automation
- Integrate third-party services and APIs
- Test and deploy new features
- Work directly with the team to turn business ideas into working product features
- Explore and implement AI-powered features where appropriate

What We're Looking For

- Recent graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Good understanding of web application development
- Experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and up-to-date web frameworks
- Familiarity with backend development and REST APIs




- Familiarity with SQL/databases
- Interest in mobile app development
- Comfortable learning new technologies quickly
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- Able to work independently and take ownership of assigned projects

Previous professional experience is not required. Personal projects, internships, school projects, open-source contributions, and apps you've built are all valuable.

Nice to Have

- Experience developing iOS or Android applications
- React Native or Flutter experience
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Git/GitHub experience
- Experience integrating third-party APIs
- Experience with AI APIs or AI-assisted development tools
- Experience working with social media APIs such as Instagram or TikTok

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
