Overview
A Medical Esthetician Instructor is responsible for teaching students the theory and practical skills required for careers in medical esthetics. This includes all courses from make up and waxing to skin treatments, client care, safety protocols and professional standards in the classroom and spa setting.

Duties

- Teach medical esthetics theory and hands-on techniques in makeup application, waxing/hair removal, body treatments, manicures/pedicures, facial protocols and advanced treatments
- Develop, improve and maintain lesson plans, demonstrations and practical training activities aligned with curriculum standards
- Instruct students on infection control, sanitation, health and safety, and proper use of esthetics equipment
- Evaluate student progress through practical assessments, written tests and assignments
- Maintain accurate student records including attendance and grades
- Support students to maintain effective attendance and academic progress within the program ensuring that they are utilizing campus support systems available to each students
- Support students with encouraging feedback, remediation and academic guidance as needed
- Follow all College policies and procedures and be an example of qualified conduct




- Collaborate with academic staff to support student success and program quality
- Maintain clean and sanitized treatment and classroom areas
- Keep detailed records of client treatments and preferences for personalized service
- Promote retail products that complement treatment plans to enhance client results

Qualifications

- Diploma in Esthetics or Medical Esthetics
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards
- Teaching experience preferred but not mandatory
- Passion for helping students learn and grow
