- Perform clothing alterations and repairs including hemming, resizing, tapering, zipper replacement, sleeve adjustments, and garment reconstruction
- Conduct fittings and take accurate body measurements for clients
- Alter bridal gowns, suits, dresses, uniforms, and everyday garments while maintaining garment quality and fit
- Operate industrial sewing machines and tailoring equipment safely and efficiently
- Communicate with customers to understand alteration requests and provide recommendations when needed
- Inspect garments before and after alterations to ensure high-quality workmanship
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace
- Meet deadlines while managing multiple alteration orders simultaneously
