Duties

- Greet patients warmly and manage check-in/check-out procedures with enthusiasm and professionalism
- Schedule appointments efficiently using electronic health record systems such as Telus CHR Health
- Process payments accurately at the front desk
- Maintain and update electronic medical records with precision, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
- Coordinate with medical staff to facilitate smooth patient flow and appointment management




- Assist with administrative tasks including filing, faxing, scanning documents, and managing office supplies

Qualifications

- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in a medical office setting is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, staff, and insurance providers
- Proficiency in handling phone systems and managing busy front desk operations
- Ability to learn new software quickly and adapt to evolving healthcare technology standards
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
