Responsibilities

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Support clients with medication administration following prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring proper hygiene and food safety standards are maintained
- Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning living areas, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment
- Monitor clients’ health status,



report changes or concerns to healthcare professionals or family members promptly
- Engage in dementia care strategies and assist individuals with disabilities in achieving their personal goals

Qualifications

- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly desirable
- Vulnerable Sector Check
- First Aid/CPR Certification
- Demonstrated experience working with seniors including dementia care
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills with a compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude
- Ability to perform light cleaning tasks efficiently and effectively
- Excellent communication skills to interact positively with clients, families, and team members
- Valid certification as a Personal Support Worker or equivalent is preferred
