Hours of Work

- 20 hours a week, Monday - Friday; 2:45 - 6:45 or 3:00 - 7:00
- Professional Days and Winter/Spring/Summer Daycamps - 8:00 - 4:30

Compensation

Responsible Adult / ECEA - 23.00 - 23.50

ECE - 29.00 (includes Wage Enhancement)

This is a part time position, so is not eligible for extended health benefits.

Eligibility

You MUST be legally able to work in Canada.

We are not able to provide sponsorship for this position.

Overview

You are responsible to co-lead a classroom’s education program and practice as well as the Centre practice to meet or exceed recognized assessment standards. You will also contribute to the professional identity of the Centre, raising the quality of the education program and practice.

Working closely with the centre teachers, you will establish authentic and positive relationships with children and families to ensure positive outcomes for all children.

Process

Shortlisted candidates will have a zoom interview to confirm their qualifications, accuracy of their resume, and discuss their philosophy and approach to working with school aged children.

3) If you are shortlisted following the zoom interview, you will be invited to an in-person observational interview (1.5 hours).

‒ Current First Aid Qualification preferred

‒ Criminal Record Search

-Responsible Adult or ECEA (20 hours of training in child development or health and safety can be accepted in lieu of an RA or ECEA certificate)
