Truck Dispatcher (Local / Same-Day Delivery)

Today Delivery is a growing transportation company specializing in same-day and next-day delivery across Quebec and Ontario.
We operate a fleet of trucks and work with subcontractors to provide quick, reliable service to our clients.

Job Summary

We are looking for a Truck Dispatcher to coordinate daily operations, manage drivers, and ensure efficient delivery routes.

This role requires someone organized, reactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

- Plan and assign daily deliveries to drivers
- Optimize routes for efficiency and timing
- Communicate with drivers in real-time (delays, issues, updates)
- Track shipments and ensure on-time delivery
- Coordinate with clients and brokers
- Handle last-minute changes and urgent deliveries
- Maintain accurate records of loads and deliveries




- Support owner-operators and subcontractors

Requirements

- Experience in dispatching or logistics (mandatory)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- Knowledge of Quebec / Ontario routes is an asset
- Basic computer skills (Excel, dispatch systems, email)
- Bilingual (English/French/Russian) – mandatory

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
