As the Parts Department Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to oversee the largest wholesale account in all of Western Canada. Collaborating closely with our Service and Sales teams, you will ensure the seamless operation of customer repairs and inventory deliveries, all while providing outstanding service to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate the Parts Department team, fostering a positive, engaged, and high-performance work environment.
- Recruit department staff from parts delivery drivers, parts advisors, shipper receivers
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with customers, body shop groups & local Nissan dealers
- Maintain accurate & sustainable parts inventory levels, managing stock efficiently to meet department and customer needs.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets, goals, and performance metrics for the department.
- Maintain a clean & organized work environment
- Conduct quarterly / yearly inventory audits
- Oversee onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Service and Body Shop Managers to ensure parts availability aligns with operational needs.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Manage warranty claims process in coordination with warranty clerks, ensuring compliance with guidelines.
- Manage staff scheduling & shift coverage
- Implement and control inventory systems and pricing procedures to maximize profitability.
- Participate in monthly team meetings to discuss departmental activities, challenges, and opportunities.
- Review sales and profit data monthly, identifying areas for growth and improvement.
- Inspect received parts for accuracy, pricing, and damages, maintaining quality standards.
- Uphold safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Parts Manager in an automotive workplace is essential, Nissan related experience considered an asset.
- Prior experience with CDK (Dealer Management System) A MUST!
- Valid AB driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an engaging attitude.
- Strong leadership qualities, with a focus on teamwork and high customer service standards.
- Proven ability to manage customer complaints and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Ability to follow standard procedures and adapt to change.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Flexibility to work Saturdays as required.

Pay: $100,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
