CLASS 1 DRIVER – DAY & EVENING SHIFT

Full-Time or Part-Time | Permanent Position

Work Schedule

- Evening Shift: Start time between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM
- Day Shift: Start time between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM
- Stable and consistent schedule
- Home every evening
- Opportunity to work up to 6 days per week to maximize overtime earnings
- Overtime paid after 40 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Earnings (40+ hours):

- 50 hours/week: $27.50/hour + $2.30/hour bonus = $29.80/hour
- 55 hours/week: $28.41/hour + $2.09/hour bonus = $30.50/hour

Key Responsibilities

- Move trailers and containers between locations
- Perform occasional trailer switches in Ontario
- Complete pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues
- Comply with all road safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain effective communication with dispatch and operations
- Operate equipment safely and professionally at all times
- No manual handling required

Qualifications

- Valid Class 1 driver's licence
- CFTR certification or a minimum of 6 months of Class 1 driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Positive attitude and team-oriented
- Able to work independently while maintaining safe work practices
