Maan Farms is looking for a reliable and energetic Grill Cook to join our food team for our busy fall season. Weekend and Holiday availability from mid September to November 1 is required.

This role will focus primarily on preparing and cooking burgers and fries for guests visiting the farm during our Fall at the Farm and Halloween seasons. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and can keep up with high-volume service while maintaining great food quality.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook burgers, fries and other grill items to Maan Farms recipes and standards
- Prep burger toppings, ingredients and other items before service
- Operate grills, fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor cooking times and ensure food is cooked properly and consistently
- Keep the grill and fryer stations stocked, clean and organized throughout the shift
- Assemble orders accurately and efficiently during busy service periods
- Follow proper food handling, sanitation and food safety procedures
- Assist with opening, closing and general kitchen duties as needed
- Work closely with the kitchen and concession team to keep orders moving quickly




- Help maintain a positive and efficient work environment during busy fall days and nights

What We’re Looking For

- Previous grill and fryer food service experience is an asset
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, high volume environment
- Able to stay organized and focused during busy periods
- Reliable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong attention to food quality and cleanliness
- FoodSafe certification is an asset
- Must be available for evenings and weekends throughout the fall season
