We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated One-to-One Inclusion Aide to join our team at our Granville location. This position provides individualized support for a Grade 2 child attending our out-of-school care program and is funded through Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD). The position is contingent upon ongoing FSCD approval and funding.

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about supporting children of all abilities, values meaningful relationships, and enjoys working collaboratively with families and educators to create an inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

What You'll Do

Provide Individualized Support

- Provide one-to-one support for a Grade 2 child based on their individualized goals and support strategies
- Foster the child's independence, confidence, social participation, and overall well-being
- Support successful participation in daily routines, transitions, indoor and outdoor play, and planned activities
- Implement strategies recommended by the family and allied professionals, as appropriate and within your role

Foster Inclusion





- Support the child in participating meaningfully alongside peers in all aspects of the program
- Encourage positive peer interactions and relationship building
- Adapt activities and environments as needed to promote engagement and accessibility while maintaining the integrity of the program

Collaborate with Families and the Team

- Work closely with the family, Centre Director, educators, and other professionals to provide consistent support
- Maintain respectful, professional, and confidential communication
- Document observations and contribute to progress updates required under the child's FSCD support plan, as directed

Support a Safe and Positive Environment

- Ensure the child's health, safety, dignity, and emotional well-being at all times
- Follow all Alberta Child Care Licensing requirements and Bambini policies and procedures
- Assist with maintaining an organized, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children

Qualifications

- Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification (Level 1, 2, or 3) preferred. Equivalent education or experience working with children with disabilities may also be considered
- Experience supporting children with diverse developmental, behavioural, sensory, communication, or learning needs is a strong asset
- Experience working in licensed child care, school, recreation,



or community settings is an asset
- Current First Aid & CPR Level C
- Current Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Search (completed within the past six months)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Role Information

Location: Granville

Position: Full-Time/Part-Time Contract (available based on program needs and FSCD funding)

Funding: This position is funded through Family Support for Children with Disabilities (FSCD) and is contingent upon ongoing funding approval. The position may change or end if funding or service needs change

Child Supported: Grade 2 student attending the out-of-school care program

Schedule:

- Full-time, Monday to Friday through August
- September onward: Monday to Friday, 3:00-6:00 PM, with additional hours as available based on program needs and FSCD funding

Wage Information

The listed hourly wage is a starting point and does not include the Government of Alberta Early Childhood Educator wage top-up, where applicable. Eligible educators will receive the appropriate wage enhancement based on their certification level. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
