Our client is looking for a skilled Fitter to join their team. This role involves interpreting drawings, fabricating, and fitting metal components to meet customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication, welding, and precision fitting, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment to assemble components.
- Fit and fabricate parts to customer specifications with minimal supervision.
- Use welding equipment, oxy-fuel cutting, and grinding tools to shape and finish materials.
- Plan and lay out projects independently to meet drawing specifications.
- Work with complex precision components, ensuring high-quality assembly.
- Operate overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely to move materials.
- Fabricate and fit components using carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Inspect finished work to ensure it meets quality standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications
- Certified Fitter/Fabricator.
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply drawing tolerances and specifications.
- 5+ years of experience in medium to heavy metal fabrication.
- Hands-on experience working with carbon steel.
- Experience operating manual or semi-automatic flame cutting equipment and shears.
- Familiarity with welding procedures and quality control requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret welding procedure specifications, symbols, and blueprints.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as needed.
