About us

INDIKOR combines deep fenestration industry experience with serious software engineering. We've been developing software since 2006 and building cloud-based, ERP-based solutions for customers since 2010. We build customer-centric software for window and door businesses, designed around a single question: how do we make it easier for our customers to sell their products? From our dynamic product builder to Quick Start quoting, inventory tracking, live product and price lists, and interfaces to the accounting software of each customer's choice, every decision is made purposefully to help users sell more, spend less, and increase profit always behind a easy, intuitive interface, because powerful software that's hard to use isn't powerful. We built this platform because the fenestration market is underserved: mainstream CRMs, even those aimed at contractors and construction, leave gaps that force customers into workarounds that waste time and money. Our software is customized for each client and built to understand this industry rather than approximate it.

The role
We're hiring a senior engineer to help lead the technical direction of a mature, actively used manufacturing platform built on ASP.NET Core, Angular, MS SQL, and AWS.

This is not a greenfield role. Our platform has grown alongside the business and supports a wide range of product lines and customer-specific rules. Part of the job is delivering new capability; the other part is making deliberate, incremental improvements to the system you inherit so that each release is easier than the last.

The largest initiative on our roadmap is EDI. We exchange orders and related documents with customers and suppliers today, and we're investing in turning that into a scalable, standards-based integration platform. If you've built EDI capability before not just consumed it this role gives you real ownership of it.

What you'll do

- Lead and manage a team of software engineers, providing guidance and support throughout the development process.
- Lead our EDI and B2B integration roadmap: partner onboarding, document mapping, validation, acknowledgments, transport, error handling, and monitoring building a configurable platform rather than one-off integrations per partner.
- Oversee application development projects from conception to deployment, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Drive incremental refactoring and modernization: consolidate framework and dependency versions, decompose oversized components, retire dead code, and introduce automated test coverage where the risk of change is highest
- Implement Agile methodologies to enhance productivity and streamline workflows within the team.
- Design, deploy, and operate services on AWS containerized workloads, queues, storage, and secrets management, defined as infrastructure-as-code
- Conduct code reviews, ensuring code quality and promoting knowledge sharing among team members.
- Design and develop APIs that integrate with various platforms and services.
- Own production issues end to end across the application, database, and cloud infrastructure, and fix root causes rather than symptoms
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement within the team.
- Design, build, and maintain features across ASP.NET Core services and an Angular front end

Required qualifications

- 10+ years of professional software development experience
- Strong experience with C#, JavaScript, and the .NET Core framework.
- Strong Angular experience (v14+): TypeScript, RxJS, component architecture
- Strong EDI experience: ANSI X12 and/or EDIFACT, common transaction sets (850, 855, 856, 810, 830, 997), transport mechanisms (AS2, SFTP, VAN), and hands-on partner onboarding and document mapping
- Proficiency in SQL Server, including writing and optimizing SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience in developing and testing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, SES, SQS, DynamoDB, and S3.
- Skilled in using Git and Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Equivalent experience with structured partner integration cXML, IDoc, RosettaNet, or high-volume custom flat-file/XML partner feeds will be considered
- Experience with ERP, MES, or WMS systems
- Working understanding of manufacturing operations: BOMs, routings, work orders, inventory transactions, lot/serial traceability, and how an order becomes a production schedule
- Containerized workloads on ECS/Fargate (or EKS) with Docker
- Observability and structured logging (Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, or equivalent)
- Infrastructure-as-code Terraform, CloudFormation or equivalent
- A demonstrated track record of refactoring a large, long-lived codebase.
- Proven ability to lead small teams through the Agile development process.

Join us in shaping the future of technology through innovative software solutions while leading a passionate team dedicated to excellence.
