Insight Solutions is currently recruiting Registered Social Workers on behalf of one of our valued clients to provide temporary support within residential youth programs in Scarborough and Pickering.

This is an exciting opportunity for compassionate, client-centered professionals who are passionate about supporting youth and young adults through trauma-informed, evidence-based practice.

As an independent contractor, you will receive your full contracted hourly rate. You are responsible for managing your own taxes and applicable remittances.

Responsibilities

As a Social Worker, you will:

· Provide individual and family counselling and support.

· Develop and implement client-centered care plans in collaboration with the clinical team.

· Facilitate individual and group programming.

· Support youth experiencing complex behavioural, mental health, and social challenges.

· Provide crisis intervention and participate in critical incident debriefing when required.

· Collaborate with community partners and multidisciplinary teams.

· Provide clinical guidance to frontline staff using trauma-informed and strength-based approaches.

· Support documentation and case management requirements.

· Supervise Day Treatment staff and Social Work student placements, where applicable.

Qualifications

· Bachelor of Social Work (BSW) or equivalent.





· Current registration with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.

· Experience supporting youth in residential, community, mental health, or child welfare settings.

· Excellent assessment, counselling, and communication skills.

· Robust understanding of trauma-informed and client-centered practice.

Requirements

· Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence.

· Reliable vehicle with willingness to travel between locations (mileage reimbursed).

· Current Vulnerable Sector Check.

· Current CPR & First Aid Certification.

· CPI certification is considered an asset.

Position Details

· Temporary position

· Approximately 35 hours per week

· Flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as required

· Multiple locations throughout Scarborough and Pickering
