Job Description:
Santé Circle Health is looking for an organized, proactive, and relationship-focused Recruiter, People & Culture to manage full-cycle recruitment across our organization. The Recruiter will manage multiple active vacancies from the identification of a hiring need through sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer preparation, and onboarding coordination.
This position recruits for clinical, healthcare, administrative, operational, and corporate roles across Santé Circle Health and its divisions, with a significant focus on regulated healthcare professionals and other specialized candidates in a competitive labour market. The successful candidate will balance competing priorities, build robust relationships with candidates and hiring leaders, maintain accurate recruitment records, and help improve recruitment processes and the candidate experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage assigned vacancies end-to-end, partnering with the Manager, People & Culture and hiring leaders to confirm position requirements, qualifications, priorities, and recruitment timelines.
- Prepare and post accurate, inclusive, and engaging job advertisements, and proactively source candidates through job boards, professional networks, referrals, educational institutions, professional associations, social media, direct outreach, and other channels.
- Develop candidate pipelines for frequently recruited and difficult-to-fill positions, including regulated healthcare professionals and other specialized candidates; build relationships with colleges, universities, community partners, and support career fairs and student or new-graduate recruitment initiatives.
- Review applications, screen candidates, conduct initial telephone or virtual interviews, and coordinate and participate in interviews with hiring leaders while maintaining regular, professional, and people-centred candidate communication.
- Complete reference checks; coordinate background checks, security clearances, credential verification, registrations, licences, liability insurance, certifications, and other employment requirements; prepare offers and supporting documentation with the Manager, People & Culture; and support the transition into onboarding.
- Maintain accurate recruitment trackers,
candidate and interview records, vacancy updates, and anticipated start dates; prepare routine reports; support recruitment and Human Resources systems; and recommend practical improvements to tools, templates, communications, tracking processes, and the candidate experience.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and provide People & Culture team support as required.
Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships with candidates, employees, hiring leaders, and external partners.
- Strong candidate-sourcing, resume-screening, and interviewing skills, with the ability to adjust recruitment strategies for specialized or difficult-to-fill positions.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active vacancies and competing priorities, work independently, take initiative, and follow recruitment activities through to completion.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with accuracy, attention to detail, sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion when handling recruitment records, employment documents, and confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to recommend practical process improvements; proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable using job boards, recruitment platforms, tracking tools, and evolving Human Resources technology.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, onsite environment.
Qualifications:
- College diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum two years of experience supporting or managing full-cycle recruitment, including candidate sourcing, resume screening, interviewing, reference checks, and employment offers.
- Working knowledge of the Ontario Human Rights Code, Employment Standards Act, accessibility requirements, and fair recruitment practices.
- Experience recruiting healthcare professionals, regulated clinicians, or other specialized candidates is a strong asset; experience supporting pre-employment screening, professional credentialing, or onboarding is also considered an asset.
