Miyo Askiy Cannabis Co. is more than a cannabis retailer. We're committed to creating a welcoming, educational, and inclusive shopping experience where every customer feels safe and comfortable. As we expand into Saskatoon, we're looking for professional, dependable, and approachable Retail Security team members to help create a secure and positive environment for both customers and staff.

We're looking for individuals who remain calm under pressure, communicate respectfully, and take pride in maintaining a safe retail environment.

Position Summary

As a Retail Security team member, you'll play an important role in protecting our store, supporting our team, and ensuring every customer enjoys a safe and welcoming experience. You'll maintain a visible presence throughout the store, assist with loss prevention, and respond professionally to situations as they arise.

We're looking for individuals who are observant, reliable, and committed to providing exceptional customer service while maintaining a secure environment.

Safety & Security

- Maintain a visible and professional presence throughout the store.
- Monitor store entrances and exits.
- Observe store activity and assist with loss prevention.
- Respond calmly and professionally to incidents or concerns.
- De-escalate situations respectfully when necessary.
- Complete incident reports accurately when required.




- Work closely with management to maintain a safe retail environment.

Customer Experience

- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Help create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest.
- Provide assistance to customers when appropriate.
- Represent Miyo Askiy Cannabis Co. with professionalism at all times.

Qualifications

- Must be at least 19 years of age.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
- Skilled, approachable, and dependable.
- Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods.
- Reliable transportation to work.
