Part Time Mother’s Helper / Household Manager

Location: Inner City NW Calgary, AB
Schedule: Monday–Thursday from 7:00 AM–11:00 AM
Hours: 16 hours/week
Pay: $20–$26/hour, based on experience
Position: Ongoing

Start date: August 31st, 2026 but could be flexible for earlier or later for the right candidate

Nannies On Board is seeking a reliable, organized, and proactive Mother’s Helper / Household Manager to support a busy family with three children, ages 7.5, 5, and 2.5 years.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being the extra set of hands that helps a household run smoothly. The role is a combination of morning childcare support and household management, with a strong focus on getting the family organized and out the door each morning while keeping the home running efficiently.

Your Responsibilities:

Morning Family Support

- Help get the children ready and out the door for school/daycare
- Assist with breakfast and morning routines
- Help keep the children on schedule and ensure they have everything they need for the day
- Provide childcare support as needed during the morning

Household Support

- Prepare meals and snacks for the family
- Meal prep for upcoming days
- Load/unload dishwasher and keep the kitchen tidy
- Children's and family laundry
- Complete 1–2 additional household tasks each day, as time allows
- Help maintain an organized and functional household
- Take initiative and identify tasks that would be helpful to complete

The family is looking for someone who can work independently, prioritize tasks, and make good use of their time. The specific household tasks may vary from day to day depending on the family's needs and schedule.

- Someone who naturally notices what needs to be done and takes initiative
- Comfortable working in a busy family household
- Qualified, reliable, and punctual
- Looking for a long-term, ongoing position

Previous experience as a nanny, mother's helper, household manager, family assistant, personal assistant, or similar role would be an asset.

What We Offer

- $20–$26/hour, based on experience
- Consistent Monday–Thursday morning schedule
- 16 hours/week on a guaranteed hours set up
