We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Maintenance Tech, who can perform the below requirements:

- Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repair
- Frequently inspect facilities to proactively detect potential problems and recommend the necessary repair or maintenance
- Follow maintenance schedules in line with the organization’s maintenance goals and monitor PM compliance
- Maintain records of maintenance and service activities
- Evaluate the performance of equipment
- Place orders for spare parts and equipment
- Source and order current parts, as well as source and order substitutes for existing parts
- Develop new PM procedures for continuous improvement of equipment reliability and to prevent breakdowns




- Ensure maintenance office and parts area are organized
- Must be part of team, a ‘hands on’ approach with equipment

Requirements

- 1+ years of mechanical maintainance experience
- Degree or Diploma in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering,
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Works well under pressure

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
