Event, Food Service & Party Helpers – Private Party

We are hiring reliable, qualified helpers for a private birthday party in HAMILTON on AUGUST 8th, 2026, with setup and food preparation required the day before.

Responsibilities:

- Preparing and arranging hors d’oeuvres, main meals and other party food
- Assisting with BBQ preparation and service
- Serving food, alcoholic beverages and non-alcoholic drinks
- Setting up tables, decorations, food stations and photo-op areas
- Taking candid photos and guest photos using a phone or camera
- Clearing dishes, cleaning and end-of-event teardown

Requirements:

- Valid Smart Serve certification
- Food Handler Certificate
- Previous catering, serving or event experience preferred
- Friendly, punctual, organized and comfortable interacting with guests
- Available both the day before and the day of the party

Dates/hours: 9am to 10pm August 8, 2026 possible 4-6 hours on August 7th, 2026
Pay: $20-$22 per hour
