Overview

We are seeking a part-time compassionate, reliable, and skilled Mental Health Support Worker / Community Care Aide to join our community outreach team. This role involves travelling to clients' homes to provide medication witnessing and supportive wellness check-ins for individuals living in the community with mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

- Travel to client residences using a company-provided vehicle.
- Witness and document prescribed medication administration.
- Engage clients in a respectful, supportive, and professional manner.
- Monitor client well-being and report concerns to the supervising healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Follow all privacy, safety, and organizational policies.
- Promote client dignity, independence, and recovery-oriented care.
- No ADLs required.

Qualifications/Requirements

- Must have a valid Care Aide registration.
- Must have a valid Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate approach to client care.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.




- Comfortable working in community settings and travelling between client homes.
- Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health, substance use, or social challenges is an asset.

Schedule and Compensation:

- Wednesdays from 5:00pm-10:45pm and Fridays from 4:00pm to 10:45pm.
- Compensation: $29 per hour.
