Schedule: Primarily Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Availability Requirement: Candidates must have the flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends when providing vacation or absence coverage.
We are seeking a dependable, organized, and adaptable individual to support our scheduling, payroll, billing, recruiting, and general office operations.
This position is ideal for someone who works well under pressure, can manage several priorities at once, and enjoys working with both employees and clients. The successful candidate will primarily work regular weekday office hours but must be available to assist outside of regular hours when covering for other team members.
Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with employee scheduling and ensure shifts are filled appropriately
- Provide scheduling coverage during employee vacations, absences, evenings, and weekends when required
- Assist with processing payroll accurately and meeting submission deadlines
- Assist with client billing, invoicing, and related administrative duties
- Post job advertisements, review applications, interview candidates, and recruit for open positions
- Conduct in-person onboarding and orientations for new employees
- Clearly communicate job expectations, work locations, schedules, wage information, and placement procedures to new hires
- Maintain accurate employee, payroll, scheduling, and client records
- Respond professionally to employee and client questions
- Complete data entry, filing, document preparation, and other general administrative tasks
- Assist with special projects and occasional site visits
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an office or administrative setting
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee, payroll, and company information
- Reliable transportation for occasional site visits
- Must be dependable and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with scheduling, payroll, billing, recruitment, or staffing
- Full-cycle recruitment experience is considered an asset
- Experience working in a staffing agency or coordinating a large workforce is considered an asset

Availability
This position will generally work Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. However, applicants must be willing and able to work occasional evenings and weekends when covering vacations, absences, or urgent scheduling needs.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
