Join our dynamic team as a Mechanic Apprentice and kick-start your career in heavy equipment and automotive repair! Responsibilities
Assist senior mechanics with diagnosing and repairing various types of heavy and industrial equipment.
Learn to use hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and effectively for maintenance tasks.
Support the inspection and troubleshooting of machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and farm machinery using schematics and technical manuals.
Participate in routine maintenance activities to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Help with the assembly, disassembly, and installation of mechanical components on diverse machinery.
Contribute to heavy lifting operations using appropriate safety protocols for industrial equipment.
Gain experience in electrical systems,
hydraulic systems, and basic automotive repairs under supervision.
Experience
No prior mechanic experience is required; however, familiarity with dealership or industrial equipment is a plus.
Basic mechanical knowledge or hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, or welding is beneficial.
Experience working with heavy machinery such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, or farm equipment will be advantageous.
Strong interest in automotive repair, electrical systems, or HVAC systems is desirable.
Excellent customer service skills are valued to support team collaboration and client interactions during service processes.
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams to assist in troubleshooting and repairs.
Willingness to learn new skills related to heavy equipment operation and industrial maintenance.
