Believers Construction Inc. (BCI) — Project Manager

Location: Toronto, ON | Pay: $30.00 CAD/hr | Contract (project-based, extendable)

Job Summary

Believers Construction Inc. is hiring a Project Manager to own landscape and site-construction projects from award through close-out. The Project Manager coordinates crews and subcontractors, controls schedule and budget, manages client and General Contractor communication, and keeps quality and safety to Ontario construction standards.

Responsibilities

- Plan, schedule, and manage landscape and site-construction projects from kickoff through substantial completion and close-out.

- Lead day-to-day coordination with site foremen, crews, subcontractors, suppliers, general contractors, consultants, and clients.

- Review drawings, specifications, addenda, and change directives; clarify scope and issue RFIs when needed.

- Build and maintain project schedules; track progress, hours, materials, equipment, and hold points against the plan.

- Control project budgets: monitor costs against estimate, flag variances early, and support change-order pricing.

- Source and manage materials and equipment; coordinate deliveries, rentals, and vendor follow-up.

- Enforce site safety and full compliance with the Ontario OHSA and O. Reg. 213/91 (Construction Projects).

- Deliver quality control on key scope items: grading, granular base,



concrete curb/walkway, asphalt and unit paving, fencing, planting, topsoil/sod, drainage.

- Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, submittals, and as-built / close-out documentation.

- Support estimating and bid handoff on awarded work; maintain accurate project records.

Qualifications

- 3+ years of project management or site supervision on civil or landscape construction scope.

- Proven ability to run projects on schedule and within budget.

- Ability to read drawings and interpret project specs.

- Working knowledge of O. Reg. 213/91 and construction site safety practice.

- Proficient with Microsoft Office / Google Workspace.

- Reliable own transportation. Travelling Required.

- Ontario work authorization required.

Work Schedule

Contract, project-based, extendable. Standard daytime construction hours, Monday to Friday. Travelling Required across the GTA and Durham Region.
